Angus Buchanan

Angus has worked in the sports industry for over 25 years having successfully made the transition from professional sportsman to one of the leading strategy consultants and commercial negotiators in the sector.

During that time, Angus has helped grow The Sports Consultancy (TSC) from start up to 50+ strong team and cemented the company’s position as one of the leading independent consultancies in sport and entertainment.

Angus has worked in the GCC since the inception of TSC in 2006 - a region which is responsible for ~40% of annual turnover.  His commitment to our Middle East clients is demonstrated by the establishment of our regional headquarters in Riyadh, and a further client service division in Abu Dhabi.

Angus is passionate about sharing his knowledge and upskilling those he works with – exemplified by TSC’s recruitment of local talent in the Kingdom, regular knowledge sharing events with our KSA clients and our partnership with Princess Noura University to provide internship opportunities across our global offices.
